How Does EM WorkEM works by enhancing the microbial balance of the soil or compost so that plants benefit. The changes in the growing conditions increase the capability of the plants to absorb the natural goodness readily available in the growing medium.
The plant roots and the natural fungi in the soil combine symbiotically to provide food for each other. The plants provide sugars to the fungi, the fungi grow stronger and respond by sending out a network of fine roots that take essential minerals and natural fertilisers from the soil and provide the plant with the additional food resources. This enables plants to grow larger, organically.
