Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We use Paypal as our payment gateway and only accept orders from within the United Kingdom and Ireland
Telephone orders can be made by telephoning 0141 587 2646.
We do not charge for any item until it is ready to ship. Back ordered items are not charged until they are shipped. You may send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet.
When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable.
We do not store credit card details.
Shipping and Handling
For all orders EM Sustainable Living makes a delivery charge to cover postage costs. Heavier items are sent by courier. We do not send items outwith the United Kingdom or Ireland. The delivery charge is non-refundable.
We try to deliver your order right away. All items displayed on the site are in stock.
We send all small orders by First Class Royal Mail, on all orders received before 3pm on the day of ordering . Orders received after 3pm are sent next working day. Orders received at weekends are dealt with on the next normal working day. For large orders we will send your order to you by courier delivery, next day delivery is available at extra cost.
If for any reason your item is not in stock, we will back order for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait.
We are a small business and are not currently registered for VAT purposes. Therefore the price you see for an item is the price you pay. VAT will not charged
We endeavour to guarantee your satisfaction in our products.
You are allowed to cancel your order within 7 working days without having to give a reason. The 7 working days start from the day after the day the customer receives the goods. You are also given the right to a "Cooling off period" during which you may cancel the order for any reason.
All you do is contact the company by e-mail or telephone 0141 587 2646 and state that you wish to return the products. The cost of returning the goods, rests with the consumer. Where the products are returned unopened and unused a refund will be made within 30 days of cancellation.
Purchasing through this website does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer. In case of complaints we endeavour to respond to all complaints within five working days

On goods ordered in error there may be a 25% restocking fee on all returned goods.

Remittance Terms Orders can be made using credit and debit cards. We charge extra for delivery on all products. The delivery charge is non-refundable.
